Very Excited.....

I am sooo very excited for my Good Friend and Photography Partner Kristin and her Family.  This morning, she is delivering her 3rd child, their 1st boy, by C-Section.  I wish them Well.  I feel sooo Blessed because She and her Husband have asked me to be there to take their 1st Family Photos.  This is such an Honor.  Right now she is getting ready for her C-Section and later this afternoon I will be headed to the Hospital to see the Happy Family.

Kristin, Glenn and Girls.....  Good Luck and give Baby Chance a Big Kiss for me.  I'll be there soon.  :)

Danny, Kristan & Carter....

I had a Wonderful photo shoot with my Girlfriend Kristan, her husband Danny and their son Carter on Sunday Night this past weekend.  This family is sooo cute and they are always a blast to work with.  I'm looking forward to many more shoots with them over the summer.  Here is a quick sampling of about 6 photos from the session.  I will be making a Gallery for everyone to see of about 20-30 photos in the next day or so.  Enjoy and Lots of Comments~!

Happy Memorial Day to Everyone.  I just want to say Thank You to all our Armed Forces, Past and Present, their Families and their Spouses.  You will never know how much your Service is appreciated.

Lately.....

Life has been crazy.  I've been having a ton of shoots and my personal life has also been amazing and busy.  

On a personal front, we've been remodeling our current house and searching for a newer, bigger one.  That's been taking up a ton of our time.  We are in the process of looking at and picking new orders and trying to decide if we want to stay in Virginia or move out of the area. 

On the business front, Life has also been very busy.  On the 17th I photographed a Beautiful Wedding at the Founder's Inn in Virginia Beach.  Photos from that Wedding are coming soon.  I am just waiting for my partner to finish editing her photos from the wedding.  I am sooooo excited to share these photos.  This was an amazing experience and the photos are spectacular.  Also, last night I had a shoot at Yorktown Beach.  That was fun.  It was for an Amazing family that I know, Danny, Kristan and their 7 month old son Carter.  This is the second shoot I've had with Kristan and Carter.  I can't wait to show these photos to everyone also.  I will be having tons more shoots with this Family over the Summer.

My husband and I are gearing up for a Busy and Crazy June.  We have my Father and his family coming to visit for the 1st week.  I have a Rehearsal Dinner and the Truman homecoming to Photograph while he is here.  Then, on the 7th I'm photographing a Wedding in Norfolk.  That next week, My Family and I are headed out of town for 2 and a half weeks.  It's not all going to be fun and games though.  I have a few portrait sessions scheduled in Connecticut and Maine while we are on Vacation and also a Wedding in Connecticut that I will be Photographing.  Then we will be headed back to Virginia and some friends of ours from Connecticut are coming back with us to visit for a week.  After that is the 4th of July and we've been invited to a private party with great Fireworks.  We went last year to this same home and LOVED it.  I can't wait.  Life slows down a tiny bit in July and the goes crazy again fro August, September and October.  

Anyway, Keep a look out for tons of new photos in the next week or so once my clients get to see them and order what they want.

Today.....

I'm off to photograph a Wedding in Chesapeake.  Keep an eye out... I'll be posting pics next week.  I'm so excited.  Anyway, this is the kickoff wedding to a Beautifully CRAZY Summer.  

I was also contacted last night by a Model in Norfolk to start working with her on occasion.  I'm really excited about that.  She needs a photographer for a shoot in the next 2 weeks, so hopefully we can work something out.  :)  I'm excited.  After talking to her last night, I'm just waiting for her to give me a time for the shoot.  

Also, I have a couple more infant shoots coming up in the next few weeks.  

Next weekend is the Pungo Strawberry Fest and 4 photo shoots and then VACATION~!  Yay...!  My family and I will be on vacation for most of June since we have Family coming into town the first week and the last week and we will be gone for 2.5 weeks in the middle.  However, I LOVE my clients, so if you want a shoot, just contact me.  I've already spoken to a few clients and scheduled a few things.  :)

Anyway, Time to go get dressed and pack the equipment to head to this wedding.  :)  Keep Checking Back.  I'll post more about today in a few days.  

Just a Note.....

Just a quick note to all my Faithful and Loyal Clients......

My Family and I will be re-locating due to it being time to pick new orders.  Technically, we are not up for change of command until February '09, but we are so excited about our new orders that we might terminate our shore duty and move sooner if they'll let us.  This however does not really effect my clients.  I will be making regular trips back to Virginia for shoots and visits with friends.  Also, you can contact me and I will try and make a special trip back for your special occasion.  Remember, My services are available Nationwide so no matter where I go, I'll always try my best to accommodate my clients.  If we happen to leave earlier, I will fulfill all of my current engagements no matter what.  I just wanted to make sure to give my clients a heads up.  :)  Contact me please if you have any questions or comments regarding this announcement.

So Excited....

So, I'm so very excited about some Great News I've gotten over the last few days.......

1: I am probably flying to Seattle, WA in August for 4 days to do some Photos for a Client.  

2: I had 6 AMAZING photo shoots over the last 8 days.

3: I have 4 more shoots scheduled for this coming week.

4: I have a Wedding next Saturday the 17th.

5: I just booked another Wedding for September (that's 2 for that month and # 7 for the summer)

6: I have some Great Shoots scheduled with my Models for the weekend of the 24th and 25th.

Then Starts the ABSOLUTELY CRAZY month of June.  :)

This Past Weekend....

Totally Booked....

So, I am Lovin' it~!  I am TOTALLY booked this weekend and I only have 2-3 more slots for Weddings for this summer before my Wedding Dates are all booked.  I have some newborn infant photos tomorrow afternoon.  Then a Family shoot with one of my Models and her family tomorrow evening.   (I can't wait to do some of just her in the next few weeks.  She is Gorgeous.)  Then, Sunday morning I have Church in the morning, another Baby shoot in the afternoon and then I am meeting my Models from the Modeling agency that wants me to work with them around 6.  Busy and I LOVE it.  I also booked 2 more Weddings today.  Like I said, I'm pretty booked for those.  Only a few more dates available.  As of right now.... 

May

.... If needed, I can make a date this month for a Wedding, but I'd prefer not since I already have 1 wedding booked and I need to get ready for Family to come into town.  I do however have time for other types of shorter shoots like family, maternity, infant, ect.  

June

.... Is booked solid.  I have 2 Weddings with rehearsal dinners to shoot.  Family in town for the 1st week. I'm on vacation and going out of town for 2.5 weeks in the middle of the month (I am photographing a wedding in CT while we are on vacation) and then we have more Family coming into town the last week.  I also have a few family, maternity and infant shoots scheduled throughout the month.

July

.... Is pretty open as of right now.  I have a few dates in limbo right now waiting for Brides and Clients to get back to me, but other than a few simple shoots, I'm pretty free.  (Maybe I should keep it that way for a little bit of a break.  haha.  Yah right,  You all know me better than that.)

August

.... We have family coming into town the first 2 weeks, so I'm going to be pretty busy.  Then I have a Wedding in North Carolina the 3rd weekend and a Wedding in Pennsylvania the 4th weekend.  If needed, I can fit something else in that last weekend.  And again, I have tons of shoots already planned in between all this.

September

.... Right now I have one Wedding scheduled and one tentative.  Again, lots of other shoots going on, but willing to schedule in 1 or 2 more Weddings depending on what's needed.

Engagement Shoot, Bridal Shoot (if interested), Wedding Day from getting ready to last dance, and I will also design some Save The Date cards for you if you are interested from your engagement shoot. Also I will include CDs from all shoots with a Photo Use Release form so that you may make prints or do whatever you wish with your photos. If you notice, looking at my site, I Do Not normally offer a CD of any sort to my clients. This would be a special offer if you contact me during the Month of May (Deposit MUST be paid on or before May 31st, 2008 and Wedding must be in 2008.)
